The City Counselling Commission in Korca held a meeting in the premises of the Business Incubator. In this meeting, the members of the Commission discussed the draft-regulation on the role and functions of the City Counselling Commission.
In the meeting room on the Municipal Council in Korca the Coordination meeting of the City Counseling Committee took place. Its objective was to re-structure and refresh the membership of the Committee and to work out a plan for 2016 and the future. In the framework of implementing the new territorial reform, it is aimed the re-composition of the Committee by involving representatives from rural administrative units ensuring a wider civic representation.
On April 15th, 2016 the annual meeting of the Board of Directors of RDA Korçë took place. Board members and RDA staff participated.
During the meeting, activities and financial performance for 2015 were reviewed and the activity plan and budget for 2016 were presented and approved.
Young people who attend professional courses as plumbers, electro-domestic specialists, electricians and barbers in the VET Center in Korca, visited the Business Incubator and were provided with the necessary information. The discussed topics were related to the ways of starting a new business, its costs, ideas and suggestions.
On Friday, October 9th, 2015 the opening conference took place in Elbasan in the framework of the project “Strengthen democracy and rule of law by empowering citizens and civil society through participatory processes in governance.”
In the framework of the project “Strengthen democracy and rule of law by empowering citizens and civil society through participatory processes in governance”, the opening conference for the Muncipality of Korca was heldon October, 6th, 2015.
Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Niko Peleshi and the Mayor of Korca Mr. Sotiraq Filo visited the facilities of the Business Incubator in Korca which are currently under reconstruction.
Along with the RDA Korca staff, they observed the changes that are made and expressed their enthusiasm about such additional asset to Korca.
